Session 10 - Crime and Punishment
Session 10 focused on crime and punishment from Medieval Times. The girls learnt all about the harsh punishments people received for committing crimes, they were horrified to hear off people being drowned in the sea, boiled in water and having their hands cut off!
The girls had to read through some statements and decide which were true and false. They discovered that it was a crime to be an actor, to trim a beard on a Sunday and to attend church on Christmas Day.
