Session 5 - ICT, Acquisition of computer skills to present evidence.

Session 5 was great fun for all, Mr Power explained how ICT can enhance a range of publications. He showed the girls how a wanted poster can be designed to meet the needs of a particular audience and encouraged the girls to consider the purpose or aim of their work. The girls came up with a variety of ideas, including missing dogs and wanted criminals!

Session 4 - Historical Investigation

Following a lengthy investigation, the girls drew up a list of suspects, decided on motive and discussed possible scenarios that may have resulted in the death of Lord Darnley. They wrote a newspaper article detailing their suspicions and came up with some snappy headlines. Excellent work girls and many thanks to Mrs Heywood for a great session.
